Brick Stack House solves the age out problem of how to extend a typical family home without impacting the neighbours. This extension in East Oxford made use of special local planning legislation to allow a site that had previously had permission rejected, to become a modern home that met the life style of the family (Including the Work From Home Office looking out onto the street).

The proposal aimed to bring light into the home from rooflights while minimising overlooking issues. The project prioritised high levels of insulation to ensure the proposal will keep its energy bills low.
